INDIAN STREET FOOD: RESTAURANT & LOUNGE

India’s best food comes from the streets – the galees – served directly from the carts and dhabas of their hometown cooks. Sizzle, bubble, crunch, zing, swirl, and drizzle – are you ready to experience the magic and masti of roadside cuisine? In-house roasted masalas, handmade chutneys and freshly prepared dishes make for a memorable experience. Our lip-smacking flavors all come together with a squeeze of lemon juice from a chota nimbu!

  • Excellent, flavorful Indian street food. The menu and atmosphere is so fun and I have to give a major props to the servers who were kind, attentive, and went above and beyond when it wasn't expected. I can't wait to come back.

  • Having grown up on authentic street food in India, I was delighted to see Nimbu Indian Street Food open in my backyard in Pennington. I went there with my family and I am happy to state that the food is authentic, delicious and the presentation is very impressive. I ordered Mango Lassi, Mumbai grill Sandwich and Masala Chai. My family ordered an assortment of other items. All equally delicious. I wish them continued success, a thriving and long lasting location in Pennington.

  • This was my first time in, and I was so excited to see that this was not like other Indian restaurants in the area in that it specializes in chaat; basically Indian street food that you would get at stands or stalls all over the subcontinent. Do go to Nimbu if you want to have reasonably priced nicely portioned Indian style tapas.

  • Meant to go for a quick take out lunch but ended up staying coz the place looked vibrant and colorful! Tasty food in a great ambience! Everything we ordered was delicious; Had the Egg Kathi Tacos, Geela Bhel & Nimmi Noodle. The Kesariya ice cream was fantastic!

  • Our experience at Nimbu was wonderful. We went for brunch and had the chicken samosas, chit chaat fries, egg kathi tacos, and Mithai french toast. The service was friendly and attentive and great with the recommendations. And for such big portions, the price was amazing. We can’t wait to come back to try more!
